Instrumental Beginners at TE Middle

Students in 5th Grade who want to join our instrumental ensembles but do not currently play an instrument have the opportunity to take beginner lessons. Beginners will learn the basics of their instrument with the goal of joining their respective ensemble when they are ready.

Beginners are enrolled in the music extension for Beginner Band and will meet twice a cycle for the first two marking periods. For the third marking period they will join the 5th Grade Band!

We offer beginner lessons on the following instruments:

We do not offer beginner lessons on violin, viola, cello, drum set, guitar, or piano.
